Anyone planning to race at White Rock tomorrow?

I was thinking about heading up tomorrow since ARCOR has three weekends in a row scheduled. Tony, do you have any advance notice about turnout for tomorrow?

Still considering Amarillo in two weeks...the other thread has been quiet, so I figured I ask again...who's going to Amarillo?

Turn out should be decent tomorrow. Short Course has been our biggest class. 1/8th scale has been pretty consistent as well.

Sorry our schedules overlap. We tried to schedule around ARCOR and were able to do so for the most part. It would be great if you came up to race with us, but totally understand if you want to stay home and race.

I know there getting fast.....but only 1 usually keeps his car together, the other is fast when his car stays on the track.

I was actually thinking of doing the double..WR and hustle back for ARCOR But I guess such won't work. Will just stay put and run the night race.
Forwarning to race director..if I have to marshal, I'll need a low activity corner. Have a pained hip (recovering) and will be a slow mover. I posted to hire a marshal for me, but have gotten no response

It was REALLY WINDY in White Rock too, but we raced anyways. We had some really close races and everyone had a good time. Thanks to Lebak and Joseph for making the trip up. Extra big thanks to Lebak for helping some of our newbies in the pits.

In addition to the wind, the turn out was low. I'm assuming due to people checking the weather reports.

That would've made marshalling a PITA, I didn't even unload half my stuff. I was debating whether or not I wanted to race. I had my goggles so I was covered either way but wasn't a bad call to call off the race.

We practiced til 6ish and bailed.

No problem Tony -- glad to do it!

I like racing in White Rock because the atmosphere is low-key with an emphasis on fun. And it's always great to see the excitement of the first time racers. Like that boy with the HPI SC truck... A few tweaks to his ride height and camber and he came off the track glowing about how it handled so much better.

Thanks again for running the races.

Best,

John
